In the fall, you voted, and my blog won the Best Special Needs Blogger 2012 Homeschool Blog Award. You honored me with your enthusiasm and confidence in me.
Today, I was tagged in this tweet:

When I clicked the link, I realized that my blog was in the Top 10 Homeschool Encourager Blogs too! I saw the list during the voting. It was a lengthy list full of stiff competition, including many blogs that I follow for encouragement myself! To have been in the top ten is an overwhelming honor.
I write to be a blessing to you, to share what I believe will encourage, uplift, and support you, based on what I’m learning on my journey. But I would be lying if I told you that this recognition doesn’t mean something to me.
Getting news of this recognition came at a good time. When the voting started in the fall, I was questioning why I blog and whether I should even keep writing. Since then, I have gotten blog comments, Tweets, Facebook comments, emails, and other interactions that have let me know that what God is calling me to do in my little corner of the blogosphere makes a difference.
You make a difference.
In letting me know that what I’m doing matters to you, you have encouraged me. You have encouraged me to seek God anew for His purpose for my blog and my online presence. I have gotten some direction and focus—and the will to keep going, for His glory.
