Bronchitis…Again!

Apparently, I spoke too soon on Saturday. I went back to the doctor today because the coughing came back again Sunday night and has progressively gotten worse. I’m on round three of antibiotics and will be having a pulmonary function test done next week and a visit to the pulmonologist later this month because of a note the radiologist wrote (which I just found out about today) on the report about my chest x-ray—you know, the one that showed I did not have pneumonia.

I’m tired of coughing and feeling bad, and it’s starting to wear me down emotionally. That means I’m not dealing with everything else going on—Roo’s stuff, job and financial issues—as well as I normally do.

If you feel led to pray for us, please do. I know God is working on our behalf, but I’m ready to see the results of that work!

I realize we’re not the only family going through a storm right now, and my prayer list is long with requests of family and friends I ache for who are walking their own dark roads. Please add your request to the comments. There’s nothing like praying for others that gets my eyes off myself and onto the One who loves us all and is bringing every promise to fulfillment!

I am so sorry you are still sick. I will definitely keep you and your family in my prayers. It seems like so many of us are in the midst of serious trials. I keep telling myself there is a reason. Yet, it doesn’t necessarily make it easier to walk through. Prayers & Hugs!!

    • You’re right, Robin! There are many people going through major trials right now. No, it doesn’t make it easier—except for knowing that you’re walking and praying with me. We are never alone. God is always with us—and we have each other too! I’m praying for you and your family.

Oh, Jennifer, does it seem like the storms ate closer together? I did not get up until 10 today I felt so rotten! I wish we were closer together so we could hold hands and pray together!!! I am lifting you up!

    • Yes! It seems like they’re coming together to create a massive one! I’m sorry you’re not feeling well either. I’m praying for you too. God restores sight to the blind—and those with damaged corneas! I would love to take your hand and pray with you. One day!
