Easy Chalk Pastel Projects for Christmas
My kids enjoy artwork. I, unfortunately, am not gifted in art. That’s why I’m thankful to have found the Chalk Pastels series at Southern Hodgepodge. The tutorials for these projects are simple and fun. The girls enjoy them, and I feel like we’ve accomplished something with no stress on my part!
We’ve already started working on Christmas projects, and we’re using A Simple Start in Christmas Chalk Pastels with great success. We’re keeping some of our projects, and some we may give away as gifts. Our first project was a gingerbread man. Princess Roo did a gingerbread girl instead, and a company saw it on Facebook and has purchased one-time use rights to put her project on their Christmas card!
If I can help my kids do this, anyone can. Seriously.
If you’re interested in any of the Chalk Pastels series, you can find them at Southern Hodgepodge. They’re reasonably priced, and they’re a lot of fun! (If you’re concerned about the cost of the pastels, we bought a cheap set to start with for about $5.)
