Hot Springs Sensory Conference – March 15, 2013

Hot Springs, AR, Sensory Conference

Since Princess Roo was diagnosed with sensory processing disorder (SPD) almost three years ago, I have found myself always on the lookout for more information and activities to help her. Most of the resources I find are websites, books, and word-of mouth help from other parents. Those are invaluable, but I recently found out about another option that’s in my own backyard!

On Friday, March 15, 2013, there will be a Sensory Conference in Hot Springs, Arkansas! Dr. Lucy Jane Miller and Paula Aquilla, BscOT will be presenting. They will share how to recognize sensory processing disorder, activities to help with sensory integration, current research about SPD—and much more!

This conference is for everyone from professionals who work with people with sensory processing disorder to caregivers and the individuals themselves.

I will be attending, and I would love for you to join me! For more information about the conference, visit SensoryWorld.com’s conference page. There is a link at the bottom of the page that will take you to registration information.

When you check out, use the code JJANES for 15% off your registration fee and anything else at Sensory World or Future Horizons. The code also gives you 15% off shipping at Sensory World and FREE shipping at Future Horizons! (Offer good in the continental U.S. only.) If you have any problems with the code and discounts, please contact Marla at rothfisch (at) comcast (dot) net.

I hope to see you in Hot Springs next month! If you’re going, contact me so that I’ll know to find you!

Disclosure: As a blogger/affiliate for Future Horizons/Sensory World, I receive a complimentary ticket to the Sensory Conference in Hot Springs in exchange for help promoting the event. I also receive a few cents when you make a purchase using the code mentioned above. Thanks for your support!
